Rural Electrification

Today, LTL’s high-quality transformers proudly meet the entire Sri Lankan demand which makes up 50% of the company’s production while the other portion is currently exported overseas. From its humble beginnings in 1982, the company has contributed tremendously to Sri Lanka’s journey to light up the entire nation. Taking a step further LTL is involved in rural electrification in countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Botswana, Tanzania, and Nepal as well having so far delivered thousands of transformers. LTL’s single-phase transformers and small capacity three-phase transformers have been instrumental in meeting the requirements in rural electrification of the least densely populated areas around the world.
